Lokelani

Maui’s official flower, lokelani, or pink
cottage rose, was brought to the Islands in the 1800s.
Prized by island gardeners for its beauty and
fragrance. It is the only non-native plant to be
recognized as an official flower of any of Hawaii’s
islands.
